(Phoenix, Arizona) - Bryans Extended Care Center is a specialty nursing and long-term rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing personalized care tailored to your needs.

At Bryans, we focus on physical and respiratory rehabilitation. Located on the campus of John C. Lincoln Hospital–North Mountain, Bryans is able to take advantage of the hospital's many services, including laboratory testing, pharmacy, X-ray and others as needed. The staff of our 155-bed facility is committed to restoring your health and helping you return to your highest level of functionality.

At Bryans, we specialize in:

  • Subacute Rehabilitation - Helping patients who suffer from neurological disorders, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and orthopedic injuries with the goal of returning them as closely as possible to the functional level they enjoyed before the injury or illness.

  • Ventilator Program - Caring for patients who need assistance breathing. This program features 24-hour-a-day respiratory therapy services with a program designed to get patients breathing independently as quickly as possible.

  • Wound and Burn Center of Excellence - Specializes in the care of patients who have suffered pressure wounds, vascular wounds, flap-graft repairs and burns. The center will help patients make the transition from the hospital to their home.

  • Extended Rehabilitation/Transitional Programs - These programs are designed to develop physical and mental skills so patients can return to the activities of daily living independently or at a lower level of care. This program has been nationally recognized and received awards for successfully transitioning patients to community living.

  • Subacute Medical Management - Uses state-of-the-art nursing techniques and equipment to improve our patients' conditions.

  • Skilled Nursing Care - 24-hour-a-day nursing care for those who need assistance with daily living activities.

  • Hospice Care - Provides care and support to patients with terminal illnesses.

(Phoenix, Arizona) - At Bryans, we encourage visits from family and friends as long as it doesn't interfere with the patient's rehabilitation program. Visiting hours are from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. As a precaution against the spread of germs, friends and relatives with sore throats, colds or communicable diseases are asked to postpone their visits until they are well. An adult must accompany children under the age of 16.

Family pets are also welcome to visit. All pets brought into Bryans may visit during regular visiting hours only, and they must be on a leash. Because not all pets are appropriate to bring into the facility, please check with the patient's nurse before bringing a pet.

Where to Eat
Meals are served in the Bryans dining room. Guests are always welcome for a nominal meal fee. Breakfast is at 7 a.m., lunch is at noon and dinner is at 5 p.m. The coffee shop inside John C.
